I founded Edinburgh Birding & Nature Tours in 2023, and since then I've guided groups from all over the world. Together we've seen the best of Edinburgh's birdlife: its British specialities, globally threatened species, and exciting vagrants. I'm very proud of my record of happy guests, which you can read more about on our Google Reviews page.

In my time away from birding, I'm an author whose first book is about to be released, and a devotee of foreign languages: I speak French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.

Freelance Guide, Edinburgh Birding & Nature Guides

Annie is the latest member of our guiding team. President of the Edinburgh University Ornithological Society, she's always showing guests the birds of our city. Her previous work was with visitors to Rathlin, an RSPB reserve on an island between Northern Ireland and Scotland. With plenty of experience birding abroad, we couldn't be happier to have Annie on board.
