Edinburgh Birding and Nature Tours
Meet Our Guides

Matt
Owner, Edinburgh Birding & Nature Guides
I founded Edinburgh Birding & Nature Tours in 2023, and since then I've guided groups from all over the world. Together we've seen the best of Edinburgh's birdlife: its British specialities, globally threatened species, and exciting vagrants. I'm very proud of my record of happy guests, which you can read more about on our Google Reviews page.
In my time away from birding, I'm an author whose first book is about to be released, and a devotee of foreign languages: I speak French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you, so please don't hesitate to get in contact. Best wishes and happy birding!

Annie
Freelance Guide, Edinburgh Birding & Nature Tours
President of the Edinburgh University Ornithological Society, Annie is always showing guests the birds of our city. Her previous work was with visitors to Rathlin, an RSPB reserve on an island between Northern Ireland and Scotland. With plenty of experience birding in the UK and abroad, we're delighted to have Annie working with us.
"Annie was just great!" - Lillian, Texas
"Eleven lifers today and Annie was excellent company as well. We'd definitely tour with her again if we were back in Edinbrugh."
- John & Robyn, Australia
